Are your products gluten free?

Yes, all Moss Berry Farm products are gluten-free.

Corn, Wheat or Soy?

None.

Nuts?

We must be! But no nuts in any of the products. We do grow about 20 acres of Black Walnuts and are currently discussing harvesting the syrup from the trees. Stay tuned!

What is malic acid?

Malic acid is an organic compound that is naturally found in non-citrus fruits such as apples, peaches and berries.

Are the switchels pasteurized?

Yes. Flash-pasteurization eliminates harmful bacteria while maintaining as much of the natural nutrients, flavor and color as possible.

What's the shelf life?

The switchels have a shelf life of two years. Best before dates can be found on the neck of the switchel bottle in black ink.

Are your products prebiotic or probiotic?

The Low Calorie Blueberry switchel is prebiotic, as it's sweetened with low-calorie, high-fibre chicory root and contains 44% of your RDA for soluble fibre.

Are your products environmentally friendly?

All of our products are packed in glass because it can be recycled. We are moving to a biodegradable label on the switchel bottle and hope to have that in place shortly.
